The Liminal Story

Hi, I’m Sarah - a 35 year old, a mother of three, and the creator of Liminal Elixirs.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be here, the founder of a transformative skincare brand as a professional mental health nurse with a deep interest for skincare.

Having previously suffered from cystic acne which affected my self esteem, I’ve always been super conscious around what I put on my skin and preventing skin issues and maintaining my skin health.

When I fell pregnant with my third child, I was searching for a natural product for my skin that was actually effective.

Having tried many skincare products in the past and not seeing results I started down a rabbit hole looking for my own solutions.

Knowing that I wanted to create and optimise an oil based product, I trialled, tested and adjusted our signature Liminal formula and was amazed with the results.

“I knew I had to share this"

  • Wanting to prove this wasn’t a fluke, I sent the product out to many friends and family and the response I received was phenomenal.

    I knew I had to share this with the world - and so a brand was created.

    I not only wanted to share a transformative product, but I also wanted to create a space to help empower women in their transition in ageing.

    This has been something I have struggled with, teetering on the edge of wanting cosmetic procedures.

    But I knew I needed another way, a way where my skin felt at its best and where I could embrace my evolving, ageing skin.

  • And so Liminal Elixir was born from my personal journey, and continues to develop over time. 

    Liminal has helped me feel my best within my own skin, and continues to empower our community as they embrace the beauty of their ageing journey as a liminal transformative experience to be celebrated.
