Hi, I’m Sarah - a 34 year old, a mother of three, and the creator of Liminal Elixirs.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be here, the founder of a transformative skincare brand as a professional mental health nurser with a deep interest for skincare.

Having previously suffered from cystic acne which affected my self esteem, I’ve always been super conscious around what I put on my skin and preventing skin issues and maintaining my skin health.

When I fell pregnant with my third child, I was searching for a natural product for my skin that was actually effective.

Having tried many natural skincare products in the past and not seeing results I started down a rabbit hole looking for my own solutions.

Knowing that I wanted to create and optimise an oil based product, I trialled, tested and adjusted our signature Liminal formula and was amazed with the results.

Wanting to prove this wasn’t a fluke, I sent the product out to many friends and family and the response I received was phenomenal.

I knew I had to share this with the world - and so a brand was created.

I not only wanted to share a transformative product, but I also wanted to create a space to help empower women in their transition in ageing.

This has been something I have struggled with, teetering on the edge of wanting cosmetic procedures.

But I knew I needed another way, a way where my skin felt at its best and where I could embrace my evolving, ageing skin.

And so Liminal Elixir was born from my personal journey, and continues to develop over time.

Liminal has helped me feel my best within my own skin, and continues to empower our community as they embrace the beauty of their ageing journey as a luminal transformative experience to be celebrated.

FAQs

A 30ml bottle of our elixir should last 6-8 weeks when used twice daily. It should be finished within 6 months.
Look, you don't need anything.
But if you want one simple step, out elixir is it! Skincare isn't a one size fits all and we know it can be confusing. Strip it back, slap on the elixir and free up your time for the more important things!
Our original formula Liminal Elixir has a deep earthy scent due to the black seed oil and carrot seed oil which are the most potent powerhouse ingredients for our skin.
It has a small amount of essential oils also to give it the most beautiful luxurious scent.
Some people are more sensitive to scent so I created the less “scented” essential oil free alternative .
So it just depends on how sensitive you are to scent. Most people who have gone for the was scented have ended up loving the original formula elixir.
Carrot seed oil is a natural vitamin a (retinoid) and is also a wonderful skin toning and tightening agent. It can be used to minimise large pores and tighten up sagging skin.
Enlarge pores can be present due to a few different factors. Genetics being one of them. Also when our skin is over producing oil it can sit in our pores and this is not the kind of oil we want as it’s clogging. Our product is non comedogenic and over time should balance your skin's oil production.
However like anything it’s not one size fits all.
Our products are made from the finest natural botanical ingredients. However we recommend always checking with your doctor or midwife before using any products containing essential oils.
Yes, it's common. As your skin adjusts to potent ingredients, it may purge old impurities like oil and dirt, leading to temporary breakouts. This is a short-lived process and signifies a deep cleansing for clearer skin in the long term.
Why does this happen?
Introducing powerful ingredients accelerates skin turnover, expelling deep-seated impurities. Not everyone experiences this; it depends on skin sensitivity and pore buildup. The surface may show minor breakouts or flakiness before revealing fresh, youthful skin.
